They’re doing an outstanding job, and I’m proud to have our businesses here in a community that I know is under the careful eyes of such a great team of officers.
We have a great police force. They definitely do the "Protect and Serve". The Fuquay town size has greatly increased and they are being stretched thin. Some people complain about the speed traps, but we have had too many pedestrians killed and injured around schools and businesses. If we want to keep the small town feel, we have to treat others with respect.
Every interaction I’ve ever had with the staff has been excellent. You see the officers (and the Chief) all over town, at parades, events, concerts, expos, and even all the little community fundraisers that often get little coverage... they’re still there supporting our community.

Very kind officers. I forget the black woman officers name (she's like one of the only female black officers on the force and has been there a long time), she is incredibly understanding and kindhearted, intelligent and helpful.

Today I attended the funeral of a lifelong friend. The Fuquay Police provided an escort to the grave site. In the route we needed to make a U turn which called for two officers blocking oncoming traffic, my deceased friend was a 20 year veteran of the Air Force, as we made the U turn the assisting officers saluted the passing procession. I want to thank them for this kindness. Thank You for your respect and kindness. We all notice this wonderful act and were deeply touched. God Bless you we are truely thankful!
They don't just make up the speed limits, it is based on Federal guide lines for safety. My suggestion is to put down your phones, watch the road and try to stay at the speed limit. It will completely change your outlook about the speed trap.
We are grateful to have such an amazing Police Department here in Fuquay-Varina. The new Chief is absolutely AMAZING. She helped usher the department into the digital era, and they’ve been noticed by other departments and by the media for their expert use of social media to educate, involve, and empower the community.
They helped find my fathers stolen tools at the local pawnshop when we had a break in a few years ago. Even caught the perp as well! Great job!
